Lawdragon is a legal media company that provides free online news and editorial features – including their well-known guides to the nation’s leading lawyers – as well as content, marketing, and branding services for lawyers and firms.

Animus Rex performed an extensive refactoring of their website when we migrated it from an over-stressed WordPress instance to our cloud-based Web CMS platform. Several thousand pages were meticulously reprogrammed, cleaned, and optimized so they were fast, secure, and mobile-friendly.

We migrated their e-commerce solution from a clunky WooCommerce instance to a state-of-the-art Shopify store that fully integrates with Web CMS.

We also helped them with time-saving tools like being able to upload a spreadsheet for their top 500 lists which automatically generates the HTML pages instead of having to manually enter each list as a table.

Perhaps one of the best moments was when John Ryan, Lawdragon's Editor-in-chief, said, "Wow, this thing is fast", after test-driving the new site for the first time. That made us all smile!
